Security: Protecting Your Intellectual Property

Generative AI learns from examples—called Training Data. Without this data, it can't write documents, summarize text, or generate images.

But where does that data come from? It comes from Wikipedia, public websites, and—when you use free public tools—it comes from you. The prompts you write and the documents you upload.

So, what's the harm?

Imagine you upload a confidential company proposal or a sensitive client document to a free AI tool to "summarize it." The AI learns from this data. Later, your competitor asks the AI to draft a proposal for a similar client. The AI, now trained on your best work, gives them an excellent, well-structured document... thanks to your data.

Without realizing it, you just helped your competition. Our training starts with teaching you how to use AI safely and privately, and that starts by disabling model training in every AI your employees use:

ChatGPT - Disable Model Training

1. Go to Settings > Data Controls
2. Turn off "Improve the model for everyone"

Real AI Catastrophes: Learn from Others' Mistakes

Understanding AI's limitations isn't theoretical—it's critical. Below are real examples of AI errors that cost companies money, reputation, and legal consequences. These cases are taken directly from our training materials:

Case 1: Medical Practice Data Fabrication

A medical office implemented an AI system to automatically create patient records, including blood types and medical histories, based on existing documents. After six months, they discovered that when blood type data was missing, the AI simply invented blood types for patients. Though it was a small percentage of cases, it triggered a comprehensive review of all patient records—a costly and time-consuming process that could have been avoided with proper AI oversight.

Case 2: Real Estate Contract Trap

An individual used AI to generate a real estate installment purchase contract. He reviewed it quickly, and everything appeared legitimate—the values and names he provided were correct. However, the AI had inserted a clause stating that if payment was missed for two consecutive months, the house would revert to the owner. After months of payments, he missed two months and lost both the house and all the money he had already paid. The AI had created a predatory clause that seemed reasonable at first glance.

Case 3: Lawyers vs. Avianca Airlines

Lawyers representing a client in litigation against Avianca Airlines used ChatGPT to research legal precedents for their brief. ChatGPT "hallucinated" (fabricated) completely false court cases, including Varghese v. China Southern Airlines and Shaboon v. Egypt Air, complete with fictitious docket numbers and judicial citations. The lawyers submitted these to federal court without verification. The case was dismissed, the lawyers were publicly ridiculed, and the judge ordered them to pay a $5,000 fine. This high-profile case demonstrated that AI cannot be trusted for legal research without verification.

Case 4: Air Canada's Chatbot Liability

Air Canada deployed an AI chatbot to handle customer inquiries, relying on it to explain existing policies. The chatbot hallucinated a non-existent policy. When a passenger sued Air Canada, the company argued that the chatbot was a "separate legal entity" responsible for its own actions. The court rejected this defense and forced the company to pay the refund and fees. While the dollar amount was relatively low (approximately $600), the legal precedent established that companies are responsible for their AI's hallucinations—a critical lesson for any business using AI.

Case 5: Chevrolet Dealership's $1 Car

A Chevrolet dealership used a chatbot to handle sales inquiries on its website. Users discovered they could use prompt-engineering techniques to manipulate the bot. One user convinced the bot to agree to a "legally binding offer" to sell a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe for $1. Another user got the bot to recommend buying a Ford (a competitor). The dealership had to take its entire chat system offline and faced boycotts and legal issues regarding the "binding offers." This case highlights the vulnerability of poorly implemented AI systems.

Case 6: CNET's Content Quality Crisis

CNET, a technology news website, used an AI tool to write dozens of explainer articles about financial topics (such as compound interest) with the goal of attracting SEO traffic. The AI wrote articles containing basic mathematical errors and poor financial advice. Additionally, it plagiarized content from other sources. CNET had to publish massive, humiliating corrections on 41 stories and halt the AI experiment, severely damaging its reputation as a trusted authority on technology.

Case 7: Gannett's Sports Coverage Embarrassment

Gannett, publisher of USA Today, used an AI tool called LedeAI to automatically write high school sports summaries. The articles were ridiculed for being robotic and broken, containing phrases like "athletic-type encounter" and accidentally publishing placeholders like [[WINNING_TEAM_MASCOT]] instead of actual names. Gannett had to stop the program and manually correct thousands of articles, alienating local readers and damaging community trust.

Case 8: NYC's Illegal Business Advice

New York City launched a chatbot to help small business owners navigate local regulations. The bot gave advice that either illegalized valid business practices or encouraged illegal ones. For example, it told landlords they could discriminate based on source of income (illegal) and told stores they could reject cash (also illegal in New York). The city faced legal risk for having misinformed citizens, leading to confusion and the risk of business owners facing fines for following the AI's advice.

Bridging the AI Literacy Gap: Essential Skills

A common misconception among modern workforces is that AI is simply a "smarter search engine." In reality, most employees only utilize about 10% of AI's actual potential. We bridge this gap by transforming your team from casual chatters into power users who understand how to co-create with AI.

Our training focuses on five core pillars of AI competency that provide immediate ROI for your business:

Professional Document Orchestration

We move beyond simple "copy-paste." We teach employees to draft complex documents using interactive environments like Canvas, Artifacts, and Pages. Your team will learn to structure reports, proposals, and internal docs with professional precision.

Multimodal Asset Creation

AI isn't just for text. We show your team how to generate professional images, infographics, and data visualizations using the multimodal capabilities of Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude, saving hours on presentation design.

Intelligent Task Automation

We teach employees to treat AI as a digital assistant. They will learn to automate the "busy work"—from extracting data from messy PDFs and formatting spreadsheets to instant text translation and high-density summarization.

Strategic Brainstorming & Ideation

Most people struggle with "blank page syndrome." We teach frameworks for iterative brainstorming, helping your team generate high-impact ideas for marketing, problem-solving, and project planning that they otherwise wouldn't have considered.

Advanced Research & Synthesis

We teach the art of "AI-Enhanced Search." By mixing traditional web searching with AI synthesis, your employees can uncover deep market insights and competitive intelligence faster and more accurately than ever before.

"Providing an AI subscription without this training is like giving someone a Ferrari but never teaching them how to drive—you're paying for power they'll never actually use."

How we see AI and what we teach your Employees

How we see AI: We treat AI as a grammar-and-structure tool — a powerful tool for writing great text, with amazing structure that must be guided by human expertise and provided context. AI is not an infallible source of truth; it excels at form and grammar: it can be wrong. That distinction shapes everything we teach. We know the damages hallucinations can do to your company, and we teach your employees to avoid it like the plague.

How we teach it: We train employees to provide clear context, set boundaries, and verify outputs. We teach them to command the tool.

Practical recommendation: Receive a final, company-specific recommendation in the course’s last chapter to guide AI use for years to come.

Other things AI excels at and is ok to use:

Just 1-2 Hours to AI-Ready Employees

Time is valuable, and we respect that. Our entire training program takes one hour from start to finish—yet it provides comprehensive coverage of everything your employees need to know about AI.

In those 1-2 hours, your team will go from AI-uncertain to AI-confident. They'll understand the technology, its limitations, its risks, and how to use it effectively and safely. By the end of the course, your employees are AI-ready and your data is secure.

This efficient format means minimal disruption to productivity while delivering maximum impact. Your team can complete the training in a single sitting or break it into smaller sessions—the bite-sized format makes it flexible and accessible.

Course Content

Our training consists of 8 carefully crafted videos (6-8 minutes each) that cover every essential aspect of AI:

1. AI Fundamentals

Each video is followed by a simple quiz (no more than 5 questions) to ensure comprehension. These quizzes aren't designed to be difficult—they're simply confirmation that the employee watched and understood the material.

Enterprise-Ready Deployment

We've made deployment as simple as possible for your organization. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Purchase volume licenses for your team (as few as 10 or as many as 1,000+).

Step 2: Receive two emails after payment:

Step 3: Forward the enrollment link to your employees—they'll register themselves and begin training.

Step 4: Use the dashboard to monitor progress, completion rates, and quiz performance.

The dashboard provides complete visibility into your training deployment. Multiple people can access it simultaneously, making it perfect for HR teams, department managers, or executives who want to track progress.

Less Work for HR

Traditional training programs create substantial work for HR departments—scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, managing certifications, and following up with stragglers. Our system is designed to be almost entirely passive for HR.

The HR workflow is simple:

  1. Forward the employee enrollment link we send you
  2. Access the dashboard link via email whenever you want to check progress
  3. That's it.

Employees register themselves, take the lessons at their own pace, and answer the quizzes to confirm comprehension. The dashboard automatically updates with their progress. No manual tracking, no attendance sheets, no follow-up emails required.

Dashboard Overview:

Employee Name Video 1 Video 2 Video 3 Video 4 Video 5 Video 6 Video 7 Video 8 Status
Sarah Johnson ✓ 100% ✓ 100% ✓ 80% ✓ 100% ✓ 100% ✓ 80% ✓ 100% ✓ 100% Completed
